Limitations:

• •Performance degrades above 5,000 database rows Once a Notion database crosses roughly 5,000 records, page load times creep up to 3 to 5 seconds and filtering feels sluggish. It is not a database replacement for data-heavy operations like a full CRM or product catalogue.
• •AI features get throttled under heavy use Notion will silently reduce access to AI features during periods of intensive use. Writing teams and agencies relying on AI summaries daily report hitting invisible throttling that slows their workflow without any warning or clear threshold.
