NVIDIA NemoClaw is an open-source reference stack from NVIDIA that hardens OpenClaw always-on AI agents with sandbox isolation, network policy controls, and routed inference. NVIDIA NemoClaw scores 7/10 because it is the most credible open-source attempt yet to make always-on AI agents safe to run on real hardware, but the alpha status, NVIDIA-only hardware requirement, and operator skill floor stop it from being a 9 or 10 in 2026.

For the Vibe Builder, NemoClaw is almost certainly not the right pick today. The install assumes Linux, Docker, and Node 22, the supported hardware list starts at NVIDIA RTX, and the docs warn the project is not production-ready. If you want a private always-on AI assistant without managing a sandbox stack, try Letta for a managed agent platform or run OpenClaw on its own with a hosted model API. Revisit NemoClaw once it leaves alpha and once a one-click installer covers consumer RTX laptops.

For the Developer, this is the project to watch. The architecture is genuinely thoughtful: a small TypeScript CLI, a versioned Python blueprint, OpenShell handling four enforcement layers (network, filesystem, process, inference), and a host-side Model Router that keeps credentials out of the agent context.
