Limitations:

• •No audio or video recording — Granola intentionally does not store recordings. You cannot replay what someone said, verify a transcript, or share a meeting clip with a colleague who missed it. The notes are the only artefact you get.
• •No speaker labels on transcripts — Transcripts appear as continuous text without identifying who said what. In meetings with more than two or three people, attributing statements becomes guesswork, which matters when decisions are being tracked.
• •No Android or web version — Granola is available on Mac, Windows, and iOS only. Android users and anyone wanting to access notes from a browser are locked out, which creates problems for mixed-device teams.
• •Free plan stores only 30 days of history — Meeting notes older than 30 days disappear on the Basic plan. To keep a permanent record, you must either export manually or pay $14/user/month for Business tier.
• •Privacy opt-out requires Enterprise — Model training is only turned off by default on the $35/user/month Enterprise plan. On Business and Basic plans, you must manually opt out, or your meeting content is used for model training by default.
